We walk among the cold memories of a distant past. We leave behind people and places–that freeze on the coldest nights and thaw sometimes in a forgotten future.
Us as humans tend to hold on to material things. It is our nature. These things are reflections of who we are–we have become prisoners of material possessions that will either rot or wither. However, they hold meaning and value for us. There is a certain cache to why they exist.
But at some point we fade and die ourselves. There is no one to upkeep these items we have valued in our lifetime. They now sit forgotten to become part of the scenery; to entwine with the trees and grass, to rust and mold back into the ground.
Its a daunting ans frustrating cycle-our lives. It is completely within our power to persevere and reclaim our past ans futurw. But the now; the present is our only hope to settle old debts.
