Watching these summer games in Rio reminded me of an interview I had with a talented Ottawa-based boxer for the Ottawa Sports Pages about a year ago. Erica Adjei has been training for many years and has recently made some noise with her boxing skills winning a Pan-Am and International title. She is definitely someone you want to follow because she may be in Tokyo in 2020. As her boxing coach Greg Gayle summed Adjei up: “She can go as far as she wants. It’s all up to her.” Hope to see you compete for gold in 2020 Erica!
